Intensive Behavioral Health Services
Intensive Behavioral Health Services encompass an array of school and community based mental health services for children under 21 years of age that were added to MA in 2020 to replace BHRS. These services are designed to offer services to children who are experiencing significant behavioral difficulty or exhibiting significant developmental skills deficits which utilize a flexible service delivery model that can be provided within the home, school, and community setting rather than only in a facility. NET provides IBHS in 12 schools in the Philadelphia region and supports children in these areas of the city. Services are accessed through a level of care assessment through the agency and could include Behavioral Consultant, Mobile therapy or Behavioral Health Technician.
